Dr Evelina Galaczi is an internationally recognised leader in English language education, currently serving as Director of Research-English at Cambridge University Press and Assessment. Evelina’s life path has taken her from her native Bulgaria to the United States, and to the United Kingdom. Over the past 30 years, she has worked in English language education as a teacher, teacher trainer, researcher and assessment specialist, and now leads a team of experts in language learning, teaching and assessment. Evelina is recognised internationally for her expertise; she serves as a Trustee for the International Research Foundation for English Language Education and is a committee member of the Cambridge Language Sciences Research Centre. Evelina holds a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Applied Linguistics from Columbia University, USA.

Charles Stewart is a Professional Learning and Development Specialist at Cambridge University Press & Assessment and is based in Prague. Charles has extensive experience in delivering training sessions to teachers across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. He has an interest in supporting students with special learning challenges (SEND) and brings his classroom experience into each training session he leads.
